Intrinsically safe explosion protection level "ia". Certified for use in explosive atmospheres according to IEC/EN 60079-0, 60079-11 and UL913 / CSA standards.

Technical specifications

MIPEX-04 C₃H₈ sensors are designed for continuous propane detection in portable gas detectors, gas clip devices, and wireless safety systems.

With ultra-low power consumption of just ~0.1 mW, they enable up to 2 years of autonomous operation without recharging.

Combining high energy efficiency, NDIR accuracy, and certified explosion protection, MIPEX-04 offers reliable performance in harsh industrial environments, including explosive atmospheres across oil & gas, chemical, and infrastructure sectors.
