Features

MIPEX-1H [CH₄] is a next-generation solid-state methane sensor built on energy-efficient NDIR technology.

The supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.0 V offers flexibility for integration into various low-power systems. With its ultra-compact size of 19.9×19.9×10 mm, the sensor is ideal for integration into compact portable gas detectors where space and battery life are critical constraints.

    Returns linearized and temperature-compensated digital output via UART interface.

    Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensing founded on selective absorption of infrared light, utilizing a dual-wavelength LED-based method to minimize the effects of humidity, dust, and optical contamination.

  • EXPLOSION-PROOF DESIGN

    Intrinsically safe explosion protection level “ia” in compliance with: IECEx, ATEX, UL913, CSA.

The outstanding ultra-low power consumption of 0.2 mW allows the MIPEX-05 in standard housing to be used effectively in the manufacture of customized portable gas devices and wireless measurement systems for the monitoring of combustible methane, hydrocarbons and CO₂ gases with long battery life. Its power consumption is 10 times lower than that of the previous MIPEX-02 model.
