MIPEX-05 ppm [CH4] is a high-performance NDIR sensor in the 4th series housing with 10 ppm resolution. It is designed to detect methane at low concentrations - from 100 ppm - making it ideal for early leak detection in hazardous areas.
The outstanding ultra-low power consumption of 0.2 mW allows the MIPEX-05 in standard housing to be used effectively in the manufacture of customized portable gas devices and wireless measurement systems for the monitoring of combustible methane, hydrocarbons and CO₂ gases with long battery life. Its power consumption is 10 times lower than that of the previous MIPEX-02 model.
