MIPEX-04 ppm [C₃H₈] gas sensor uses an LED-based NDIR design with ultra-low power consumption and high sensitivity to detect propane at very low concentrations. The sensor is developed for use in portable gas detectors where long battery life and reliable performance are critical. It allows designing battery operated gas detectors lasting more than 12 months without charge

ULTRA-LOW POWER CONSUMPTION
Average power consumption ≤ 0.3 mW.
INTEGRATED MICROCONTROLLER
Returns linearized and temperature-compensated digital output via UART interface.
TECHNOLOGY
The simultaneous control of ppm and LEL concentrations. Dual-wavelength LED‑based technology minimizes interference from water vapor and contamination, ensuring high measurement reliability.
EXPLOSION-PROOF DESIGN
Intrinsically safe explosion protection level “ia” in compliance with: IECEx, ATEX, UL913, CSA.
