MIPEX-05 [C₃H₈] is an ultra-low power infrared gas sensor designed for accurate detection of propane concentrations in explosive atmospheres. It is ideal for integration into portable and fixed gas detectors operating in harsh industrial conditions.

The significantly reduced power consumption of MIPEX-05 (less than 0.2 mW) makes it ideal for integration into portable gas detectors and wireless safety systems designed for long-term monitoring of propane concentrations in explosive atmospheres.

The outstanding ultra-low power consumption of 0.2 mW allows the MIPEX-05 in standard housing to be used effectively in the manufacture of customized portable gas devices and wireless measurement systems for the monitoring of combustible methane, hydrocarbons and CO₂ gases with long battery life. Its power consumption is 10 times lower than that of the previous MIPEX-02 model.
