MIPEX-1F [C₃H₈] is a optical gas sensor optimized for fixed propane detection in explosive atmospheres. Designed for diffusion-based measurement, it ensures stable performance in extreme temperatures and high humidity.

An optional heating function prevents condensation on optical surfaces, enabling reliable operation even in harsh humid or subzero environments.

LOW power consumption
Average power consumption ≤ 2 mW.
INTEGRATED MICROCONTROLLER
Returns linearized and temperature-compensated digital output via UART interface (optional RS-485 (MODBUS)).
Technology
Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensing founded on selective absorption of infrared light, utilizing a four-channel (dual-beam, dual-wavelength) LED-based method.
EXPLOSION PROOF DESIGN
Intrinsically safe explosion protection level “ia” in compliance with: IECEx, ATEX, UL913, CSA.
FORM FACTOR
